Job Description

Description of Work:

At IMPERIO, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience we are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer. They will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Ruby or Python, we would like to speak with you.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation

    • Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Total experience of 5+ Years as Devops Engineer position.
  • Candidate should have at least 3+ year of relevant hands-on experience in Google cloud.
  • Should have strong experience in Microservices/API.
  • Good hands-on experience in GKE,
  • Should know Application deployment on various environments in Google cloud platform.
  • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations
  • Understanding of Shell scripting, Python or Java.
  • Understanding of cloud identity, IAM and access management
  • Understanding of the compute runtime and the differences between native compute, virtual and containers
  • Basic understating of Cloud databases services such as BigTable, Datastore, BigQuery etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Certification in professional Cloud DevOps Engineer is desirable.
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment, familiarity with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Good communication skills, should be able to communicate with client individually,
  • Pro-active team player, Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams Understanding of cloud networking, security such as software defined networking/firewalls, virtual networks, and load balancers
  • Hands-on knowledge writing custom scripts for logging & monitoring
  • Expertise in patching management, troubleshooting in Windows and Linux
  • Knowledge of Chef or Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, GIT, and CI/CD pipeline is plus
  • Excellent communication skills
